To create a test:
Click Record. The Record and Run Settings dialog box opens.
Click the Windows Applications tab.
Select the "Record and Run on these applications" option.
Click Add …, then select the application executable(s) that need to be tested. As an example, select the sample application “InteractingWithWinGrid” found in the Samples folder. (Test Automation for Micro Focus Win-Forms (Unified Functional Testing) software samples are installed in the \Samples\Bin folder.)
Click OK. The application launches and begins recording.
