What’s New in 2005 Volume 1

The Test Automation for Micro Focus Win-Forms (Unified Functional Testing) software 2005 Volume 1 release includes the following features.

Support for New Ultimate UI for Windows Forms Controls

  • There is now support for the following Ultimate UI for Windows Forms controls:

    • WinGroupBox

    • WinExpandableGroupBox

    • WinPrintPreviewDialog

    • WinPrintPreviewControl

    • WinPrintPreviewThumbnail

WinToolbarsManager™

  • There is enhanced support for the WinToolbarsManager component:

    • Support for the TaskPane functionality.

    • Support for moving and removing tools through drag and drop

WinGrid™

  • There is now support for resizing columns.

WinCombo™

  • We have added support for the following WinCombo functionalities:

    • filtering

    • sorting

    • moving, swapping, and resizing columns

    • editor buttons

WinChart™

  • There is now support for the Gantt chart.

Record by the Text or Index of an Item

Test Automation for Micro Focus Win-Forms (Unified Functional Testing) software can now configure whether operations performed on the items in certain controls are recorded by the text of the item, or the index of the item. These settings can be changed by using the new Record Settings utility.

The following Ultimate UI for Windows Forms controls are affected by this feature:

  • WinCombo

  • WinComboEditor

  • WinExplorerBar

  • WinListBar

  • WinTab

  • WinTabbedMdiManager

  • WinTabStrip
