Syntax
'Declaration

Public Property SubItemsVisibleInToolTipByDefault As Boolean
public bool SubItemsVisibleInToolTipByDefault {get; set;}
Example
The following code sample demonstrates how to use the VisibleInToolTip and VisiblePositionInToolTip properties to control which sub-item values appear in the tooltip displayed by the UltraListView control, and also to control the order in which they appear:

Imports Infragistics.Win
Imports Infragistics.Win.UltraWinListView

    Private Sub ConfigureSubItemToolTips(ByVal listView As UltraListView)

        listView.ItemSettings.SubItemsVisibleInToolTipByDefault = False

        Dim visiblePosition As Integer = 0
        Dim column As UltraListViewSubItemColumn
        For Each column In listView.SubItemColumns

            If column.VisibleInDetailsView = DefaultableBoolean.True Then

                column.VisibleInToolTip = DefaultableBoolean.True
                column.VisiblePositionInToolTip = visiblePosition
                visiblePosition += 1
            Else
                column.VisibleInToolTip = DefaultableBoolean.Default
            End If
        Next
    End Sub
using Infragistics.Win;
using Infragistics.Win.UltraWinListView;
using System.Diagnostics;

		private void ConfigureSubItemToolTips( UltraListView listView )
		{
			listView.ItemSettings.SubItemsVisibleInToolTipByDefault = false;

			int visiblePosition = 0;
			foreach( UltraListViewSubItemColumn column in listView.SubItemColumns )
			{
				if ( column.VisibleInDetailsView == DefaultableBoolean.True )
				{
					column.VisibleInToolTip = DefaultableBoolean.True;
					column.VisiblePositionInToolTip = visiblePosition;
					visiblePosition++;
				}
				else
					column.VisibleInToolTip = DefaultableBoolean.Default;
			}
		}
