Returns a Boolean value that indicates whether the user interface (UI) item referenced by the automation element is enabled and can be interacted with.

Return Value

A Boolean value that indicates whether the user interface (UI) item referenced by the automation element is enabled and can be interacted with.
Remarks

When the enabled state of a control is FALSE, it is assumed that child controls are also not enabled. Clients should not expect property-changed events from child elements when the state of the parent control changes.

The IsEnabled property has a variant type of VT_BOOL; the default value is FALSE.
