Add Separators Between Tools

Separators are unique tools that are used to visually indicate a group of Tools, related in functionality. To add a separator at design-time, right click on the WinToolbarsManager™ and choose "Customize…" Assuming that you have already created a toolbar and added tools to it, right-click on a tool that you would like to put a separator before and select "Begin a Group" from the context menu. This will place the separator before that tool. You must right-click the tool on the toolbar itself, not where it appears in the tool list of the Customize dialog.

Note
Note

You can’t have a separator at the beginning or at the end of any toolbars or menu.

In Visual Basic:

Private Sub Add_Separators_Between_Tools_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, _
  ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
	' This puts a separator in front of the second and fifth tool
	Me.UltraToolbarsManager1.Toolbars(0).Tools(1).InstanceProps.IsFirstInGroup = True
	Me.UltraToolbarsManager1.Toolbars(0).Tools(4).InstanceProps.IsFirstInGroup = True
End Sub

In C#:

private void Add_Separators_Between_Tools_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
	// This puts a separator in front of the second and fifth tool
	this.ultraToolbarsManager1.Toolbars[0].Tools[1].InstanceProps.IsFirstInGroup = true;
	this.ultraToolbarsManager1.Toolbars[0].Tools[4].InstanceProps.IsFirstInGroup = true;
