Ultimate UI for Xamarin can be installed as part of the Infragistics Ultimate Platform installer. To achieve this, use the following steps:
Log into your Infragistics account and click on Keys and Downloads
Select the desired version of your purchased product
Select the Platform Installer from the list of downloads and save it to a known location on your disk.
Note: You can also download the current Infragistics Ultimate Platform Installer directly from the Infragistics website.
Before extracting the saved platform installer zip file, you should unblock it. Right-click the zip file and select "Properties". The properties dialog will appear with a checkbox option to unblock the file. Check the Unblock option and press Apply.
After unblocking the platform installer zip file, follow these steps:
Extract the zip to the current location.
Find the extracted platform installer EXE file and double click to start it.
If you have purchased a license, enter your license key. Otherwise, select the trial option.
Select your desired products and options.
Accept the terms of the license agreement and continue the installation process.
Once the installation is completed, you will be presented the platform installer’s finish screen. At this point, feel free to explore our documentation, visit our community forums, or learn a few tips and tricks by watching our videos.
Once the installation is complete, you should have the following items installed:
A folder containing all Ultimate UI for Xamarin artifacts including NuGet packages, tools, and references. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics20.1\Xamarin)
The Ultimate UI for Xamarin Sample Browser source code (C:\Users\Public\Documents\Infragistics20.1\XF)
A local NuGet package source automatically added to Visual Studio that points to the Ultimate UI for Xamarin NuGet packages.
